If youre having problems downloading SF181Alpha then have a look at the "SF181Alpha Mirrors" thread.

The Alpha version is a full install and needs a clean install of UT to work properly

REMEMBER!!! SF1.75 is still the official release the 1.81Alpha is only a test release.

August 4th 2002 - SF 1.80 Internal Release 5

1.80 IR5
IR5 have not been given to the betatesters yet but theres some more news about the features in this IR.

IR5 features:
Right now you have the 1.55 code with all the 1.75 weapons.
You can take 4 grenades.
The grenades have aim dots.
The guns all have more recoil.
The characters have their own speed and health.
Some characters are VERY fast and others are slow, some are medium.
Prone is gone, weight system is out right now and you can carry as much as you like.
Both M4's are in game.
Tthe M203 is in game with 2 nades per gun, a shorter kill radius and a 2 1/2 second arming range.
The old MP5 is back.
The old characters are back from 1.55 along with 4 new chicks. I'm not sure what I'll be doing with the 1.75 terr and SF models.
The LARGEST difference is the play, it feels fast, no slow down, no frame rate lag, it just feels great. The game plays fast and it's really fun.
